The Witcher Remake will feature an open world
CD Projekt Red has confirmed The Witcher remake will feature an open-world to explore this time.
The remake will have the same tools as the new Witcher trilogy, which is moving on from Red Engine to Unreal Engine 5. The original Witcher was launched in 2007 for PC, using an old BioWare engine. The original game also featured more open areas than The Witcher 2.
CD Projekt CEO, Adam Kiciński, confirmed that the Witcher remake will feature an open world map along with a completely revamped combat system.
The Witcher remake is still years off from release, so there is a long long wait ahead.
CD Projekt Red recently described the remake as a "story-driven, single-player open-world RPG–a modern reimagining of 2007's The Witcher." pic.twitter.com/VYY1kAptjv
