The official support page for Starfield confirms that the game is still on schedule for a release in the first half of 2023.

As previously announced when the game was delayed in 2022, the game will be launching for Xbox Series X|S and Windows PCs in this time period.

The launch of the support page suggests that the game is on track for its release and has not encountered any additional delays, much to the delight of fans who have been eagerly anticipating its launch.

Starfield is Bethesda’s first original IP in over 20 years and is believed to be the company’s most ambitious project so far.

According to the developers, the game will offer players the ability to explore hundreds of planets, including ones in our own solar system, and boasts impressive levels of detail and interactivity.

The combination of these claims and Bethesda’s history of developing top-notch RPGs has generated significant enthusiasm and hype for the game. While it remains to be seen if Starfield can meet these expectations, the fact that its release is still on schedule is a good sign.

Both Starfield and Redfall, which Bethesda is releasing in May 2023, could potentially be available within a few weeks of each other. This, combined with other upcoming titles from Xbox Game Studios such as Minecraft Legends and Forza Motorsport (2023), makes 2023 a very exciting year for Xbox players.

According to Bethesda, this will be their largest project yet, at least until Elder Scrolls 6, which is in pre-production, goes into full production following the successful release of Starfield, which is aiming for the middle of the year if everything goes as planned.
