Revealed: PC system requirements for ‘Far Cry 6’
Ubisoft confirmed the support for technologies like AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, ray-tracing, a high-res texture pack and much more on the Far Cry 6 PC features trailer.
Ubisoft also announced the PC system requirements for the upcoming first-person shooter game, listing different specifications on different resolutions and frame rates. There is also a separate set of requirements for those looking to switch ray-tracing effects.
The minimum requirements target 1080p at 30 FPS with ray-tracing switched off. Those keen on obtaining higher frame rates will need a more modern, higher-end gaming PC.
To switch at 1440p and 60 frames per second, you require at least a Ryzen 5 3600X or Core i7-9700 processor, 16GB of RAM and an RX 5700 XT or RTX 2070 Super graphics card.
For 4K/UHD with ray-tracing, you’ll need a Ryzen 7 5800X or Core i7-10700K, 16GB of RAM and an RX 6800 or RTX 3080.
