PAX Australia 2020 postponed until next year due to coronavirus
The PAX Australia 2020 was scheduled to begin from October 9, but the event has officially been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The three-day event at the Melbourne Convention Centre will instead be scheduled somewhere around the new year.
The PAX Australia organisers have confirmed the news on Twitter, “our thoughts are with our PAX community and everyone who helps us deliver this incredible event each year. The aim since the beginning has always been to put on the best possible version of PAX Aus, provide a safe space for our community to gather, share our passion with each other and create new and lasting memories with those who matter to you most.”

“We have been working hard with our partners and exhibitors to explore all viable options but with our desire to bring you the best PAX Aus ever, the next edition of PAX Aus will now take place in 2021.”
Like any other major events that have been forced to shut down in the wake of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Pax Australia could bring up some sort of virtual alternative.
Australia’s borders are closed. Only citizens, residents and immediate family members can travel to the country. Visitors arriving from overseas may undergo enhanced health screening on arrival in Downunder.
