The Xbox console manufacturer are gearing up to integrate the publisher’s extensive library of games into Microsoft’s Game Pass subscription service, commencing with the iconic franchise, Call of Duty.

According to the Twitter account ‘Game Pass Tracker,’ Brazilian users stumbled upon an intriguing discovery. When attempting to purchase Call of Duty Black Ops 2, they were greeted with a message that read, “Receive this item for FREE with your gaming subscription! (Game Pass) Checkout and it’s yours FOREVER!”

It seems that the Brazilian store may have prematurely revealed this information, especially considering that the Activision Blizzard acquisition is slated to conclude in the coming weeks. However, it’s worth noting that the Brazilian branch of Xbox has a history of occasional leaks like these.

If this leak ultimately proves accurate, it’s important to acknowledge that more recent Call of Duty titles may not join Game Pass in the near future due to constraints imposed by PlayStation, stemming from their long-standing partnership with the Call of Duty franchise.

Nevertheless, even without the inclusion of contemporary Call of Duty titles, the addition of any Call of Duty game to Game Pass would represent a significant milestone for the service. We’ll have to wait and observe whether this development materialises as anticipated.
