Gamers and PC enthusiasts, get ready – AMD’s next-gen graphics card, the Radeon RX 9060 XT, might be just around the corner. While whispers of both the RX 9060 XT and RX 9070 GRE have been circulating for weeks, it looks like only one of them is set to make its debut anytime soon.

According to VideoCardz, citing sources from the Board Channels forum, the RX 9060 XT is inching closer to launch. All signs point to a late May or early June 2025 release, with some insiders teasing a product reveal as early as May 18th.

This GPU is rumoured to pack a punch with the full Navi 44 GPU configuration, sporting 2048 Stream Processors under the hood. AMD is said to be offering it in two memory variants – a budget-friendly 8GB version, and a performance-leaning 16GB option for those wanting a more future-proof build.

But while the 9060 XT seems ready to hit the shelves soon, the RX 9070 GRE isn’t so lucky. Despite recent leaks detailing its specs – including a Navi 48 GPU, 3072 cores, and 12GB of VRAM on a 192-bit bus – its release has reportedly been pushed back to Q4 2025.

So, if you’ve been holding out for an affordable and capable AMD card, the RX 9060 XT might be your next upgrade. But for those eyeing the more powerful RX 9070 GRE, patience will be key.

Stay tuned – the GPU race in 2025 is just heating up.
